The Liturgical Committee

The purpose of this committee is to study the liturgy documents of the Church and the Scriptures, and apply their knowledge to the planning of the liturgical seasons.  They meet with the pastor and pastoral associate in charge of liturgy, to discuss their learning and offer suggestions for each season of the church Year.  They also listen to the people and bring their suggestions to the committee. They give advice on how to improve the various ministries that are part of every liturgy.  There are usually several meetings before the seasons of Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter, and one or two during the ordinary time of the Year.  The members are also active in carrying out much of the planning that is done.  For more information contact Patrick Devenney at the parish office or email him at patrick@robertbellarmine.org
