St. Joseph Table

St. Robert's St. Joseph Table Committee prepares for, and carries off, the St. Joseph Table on the Saturday closest to the saint's feast day.  The table is made up of many different types of foods - non containing meat.  There are choice bakery items, fruits, vegetables and many types of wheat products and fish.  It commemorates the days of your in Sicily when petitions to St. Joseph saves the population from starvation by bringing rains for the crops after a long, devastating drought.  All members of the committee are volunteers and all foods are donated by the community.  All monies made from the Table go to the needy of the community and none is kept for day to day expenses.  Many of our local community have benefited from the money given to the Emergency Fund.
